For over a decade Wayne From Maine has been performing and recording music for children. The Wayne From Maine show is a 50-minute adventure through various musical styles for the young and the young-at-heart. Audience participation is always encouraged, and volunteers are invited up to the stage to play various percussive instruments or sing into a wireless microphone. The audience becomes part of the show. There's never a dull moment as Wayne inspires young minds to think and laugh with his very own brand of "Edu-tainment."
Wayne covers such valuable themes as Reading, Self-Esteem, Nutrition, Being Different, and Just Plain Fun. In addition, Jimmy James,"the Koonga Boonga Man," will add lots of rhythmic fun to the show. Jimmy has been a professional drummer for twenty years and the kids love helping him with his cool percussion toys!
