After a highly successful show this past summer, Zach Field Drum Studio returns to the Firehouse for another exciting performance on Sunday December 5th. Plum Island Pans is the steel drum and percussion ensemble program at Zach Field Drum Studios in Newburyport. There are 5 different Plum Island Pans groups consisting of 4 different school aged student ensembles and an adult ensemble. The ensembles will perform traditional calypso, reggae and popular songs on steel drums, a drum-set piece with a total of 9 drum-sets playing at once, African hand drum pieces, a trash can piece and standard orchestral percussion ensemble compositions.
