Children of the Holocaust

October 15-16
Thu-Fri (9:30AM &11:30AM)

Produced by Anna Smulowitz

Terezin:Children of the Holocaust depicts two days in the lives of six children who happened to share a cell in Theresienstadt, one of the World War II concentration camps located in Europe. The drama of being arrested is linked to the real-life experiences of the author's parents and to the International Red Cross inspection of Theresienstadt on June 23, 1944. The play is an impassioned work remembering the more than one million children who became victims of the Nazis.

The daughter of Buchenwald and Auschwitz survivors who was herself born in a displaced persons camp, author Anna Smulowitz emigrated to the United States as a young child with her parents.
