Bring On Tomorrow

A collaborative, unique, youth-created & inspired musical production

Cast members will collaborate in the creation of a unique, inspirational main stage musical theatre production

WHY
Collaborate. Create. Be Engaged. Be Inspired.

WHAT
A collaborative, unique, youth-created & inspired musical production!

SUMMARY
Cast members will collaborate in the creation of a unique, inspirational main stage musical theatre production featuring:

* A student-chosen theme with a relevant message.
* Opportunities to create original material written by cast members.
* Roles available for performance, direction, technical.
* Rehearsals in Dec & Jan; Performances 1st weekend of
   Feb on the beautiful Firehouse main stage.
* Saturday morning full cast rehearsals; and Tuesday evening smaller group rehearsals (with occasional full cast meetings as well).  Rehearsal attendance depends on casting; not everyone will always be needed at every rehearsal.

DETAILS
This project is not your typical show by any means. This unique process will feature the ultimate in youth engagement & collaboration; the theme & content will be fresh, eclectic, relevant, resonating with both youth & adults.

Students will collaborate with the directors and each other to choose an inspirational theme. The ensemble will then engage in a process to select and create relevant songs, skits and monologues relating to the theme. The content will be a mix of existing & original pieces; cast members will be mentored & encouraged to create their own music, skits & monologues.
