A Firehouse Production
Directed by Stephen Faria
Musical direction by Alisa Bucchiere
Rachel Pantazis as Cathy
James Thomas Turner III as Jaime
Pianist: Alisa Bucchiere
Violinist: Matt Bliss

Reunited on the Firehouse are Rachel Pantazis as Cathy a struggling actress, and James Thomas Turner III as Jamie a budding novelist, on the brink of wild success. They are 20-somethings in New York who meet, fall in love, marry, and divorce over the span of five years.
The experience of this show is shared with audiences through a unique form storytelling, encompassed in heartfelt (and sometimes heart-wrenching) songs. Cathy tells the story from the end of their marriage; Jamie begins from when they first meet. The result is spellbinding.
Rachel Pantazis is originally from Manchester, NH and currently lives in Portsmouth, NH. She performed in Avenue Q here at the Firehouse last year. The driving force behind her desire to be part of this production was to be challenged by the incredible score, and to once again work with James Turner III who starred with her in Avenue Q. We can hardly wait for you to hear Rachel's incredible voice!
James Turner III grew up in the Hamilton/Ipswich area and currently lives in Topsfield. This will be his fifth time appearing at the Firehouse. Previously, he has been seen in Wait Until Dark, Spelling Bee, Avenue Q, and American Idiot. The Last Five Years is easily one of James' favorite shows, not only because the score is incredible, but also because he finds the story is so powerful. He notes about the show, "There will be plenty of laughter and freely flowing tears, both onstage and off."
The Last Five Years is written by Tony award-winning composer and lyricist Jason Robert Brown. It has been translated into a handful of languages and was named one of TIME Magazine's ten best shows of 2001. A testament to the show's longevity, and spurred by the show's regional popularity, The Last Five Years enjoyed an Off-Broadway revival at Second Stage in 2013. A film adaptation was released in 2014, starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan.
